Mahela Jayawardena, the Consultant Coach of the ‘National Teams’, will leave for West Indies on the 09th January 2022 to join the Under-19 World Cup Team, which is already in the Caribbean (West Indies), to take part in the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup.

Zimbabwe tour of Sri Lanka consists of 3 ODIs starting from 16th January, 2022.
Because of the COVID-19 threat, the upcoming three-match ODI series will be played under a Bio-Secure Bubble.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka has a packed schedule beginning in 2022. Following the home series against Zimbabwe, they will go to Australia in February for a five-match T20I series. The team from the island nation will tour India for two Tests and three T20 Internationals less than a week after returning from Australia.
