‘The position we were in at the World Cup, I felt everything was thrown at me’ says Hardik Pandya;

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, while talking about India’s performance in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, said “everything was thrown at me”.

The Indian National Cricket Team had a terrible run in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021. After losing two games in a row to open the tournament and eventually being knocked out in the semi-finals. “The position we were in at the World Cup, I felt everything was thrown at me. I was selected in the squad as a batter. And I worked hard to bowl in the 1st game, but I couldn’t. Also, I did bowl in the 2nd one even when I wasn’t supposed to,” said Hardik on Backstage with Boria.

The Baroda all-rounder added that he wants to come back as a complete all-rounder.

“I want to play as an all-rounder. If something goes bad, then I don’t know but my preparations are all about playing as an all-rounder. I am feeling good, feeling strong and eventually, the time will say what happens,” he added.

Providing an update on his health status, Hardik said that he is feeling good and strong.
