Sachin Tendulkar says ‘Maharashtra Open will be great opportunity for all Indian aspirants’;
Former cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar said that the Maharashtra Open will be a great opportunity for all tennis fans to watch the ATP 250 event in India.
From January 31 to February 6, the 2022 Maharashtra Open will be place at the Balewadi Stadium in Pune.
“As a tennis enthusiast. I know many like me will be excited for the upcoming, #MaharashtraOpen. It will be a great opportunity for all the Indian aspirants. And tennis lovers to watch the ATP 250 event taking place in India,” tweeted Sachin.

The star Indian duo of Rohan Bopanna and Ramkumar Ramanathan. They has seeded second in the Maharashtra Open doubles main draw for 2022.
The in-form Indian pair, who recently won an ATP championship in Adelaide. It will open their campaign against the veteran American pair of Jamie Cerretani. And Nicolas Monroe, according to the draws released on Saturday.
Luke Saville and John-Patrick Smith, an Australian combination. They have given the top seeding in the doubles main draw. There 16 pairs will compete for the title of South Asia’s first ATP 250 event. It is organised by the Maharashtra State Lawn Tennis Association and funded by the Tata Group.
Apart Tennis Bopanna and Ramkumar, two additional Indian doubles teams will compete in the tournament. Yuki Bhambri and Divij Sharan, and Arjun Kadhe and Purav Raja.
