SA vs IND: Virat Kohli refuses to speak on DRS controversy;
SA vs IND: India Test captain Virat Kohli avoided commenting on the contentious DRS decision. That desicion enabled Dean Elgar get his LBW judgement reversed in the fourth innings of the Cape Town Test.
After a contentious Decision Review System call that aided Elgar on Day 3, Team India was obviously irritated. KL Rahul, skipper Virat Kohli, and spinner Ravichandran Ashwin all had varied reactions to the contentious decision. Kohli remarked after the third Test defeat that the visitors knew exactly what happened. And that he is not there to justify his actions, which generated a controversy on Thursday.
“I don’t have anything to say. People on the outside have no idea what happens on the field, and I understand what happens on the field. So it’s up to me to try to excuse what we did on the field by claiming that “we got carried away.”If we had charged up and taken three wickets there, that would have most likely been the turning point in the game” Kohli said.
The incident occurred in Ashwin’s 21st over, which was the 21st over of the innings. On-field umpire Marais Erasmus raised his finger when the spinner threw a tossed-up delivery. That delivery beating Elgar on the inside edge and striking him just in front of the stumps.

Meanwhile, South Africa won the third and final Test against India on Friday, clinching the three-match series 2-1.
During the third Test match, Kohli believes India failed to exert pressure on South Africa.
The first Test was won by India by 113 runs, while South Africa won the second and third Tests to win the series.
