SA vs IND: Indian Team sweats out in practice session at Cape Town ahead of 3rd Test –ย

The Indian team hit the nets for its first practice session at Cape Town ahead of the final test match of the series against South Africa, starting from January 11-15.

With the series tied at 1-1, the winner of the final Test will be crowned series champion. India have never won a Test series in the rainbow nation, to be precise.

Meanwhile, India is coming off a seven-wicket loss and would find it difficult to bounce back. It’s also worth noting that KL Rahul captained India in the previous match since Virat Kohli was out with an upper back spasm. Fortunately for the tourists, he’ll almost certainly be fit for the last match. While speaking to the media, Team India’s head coach Rahul Dravid stated the same thing.

“Virat Kohli, on all accounts, should be fine. He’s gotten a chance to test it out by running around a bit. He should be good to go after a couple of net sessions in Cape Town. “From what I’ve heard and just talking to him, he should be ready to play in four days,” Dravid said during a virtual press conference at the end of 2nd Test.

The 3rd or final test match of the series will start from January 11.
