SA vs IND: Comedy of Errors from South Africa as KL Rahul survives run-out | Watch Video;
SA vs IND: The second One-Day International in Paarl saw India take on South Africa with the series on the line, and the comedy of mistakes reigned supreme.
KL Rahul almost lost his wicket due to a mix-up between Rishabh Pant and him. The incident occurred on the 14th over’s final delivery, bowled by Keshav Maharaj.
Pant pushed the ball to midwicket and took a few steps down before changing his mind. Bavuma swooped in on the ball, snatched it up, and sent it to the bowler’s end in a hurry, and Rahul had already reached Pant.
Rahul would have been a few miles away if Maharaj had retrieved it, but he was unable to do so, and the ball went to deep cover. Rahul was still at the keeper’s end when he noticed that the ball was nowhere near the stumps and returned to his end.
What was that ???

India had previously won the toss and elected to bat first. But Virat Kohli was dismissed for a duck. Kohli was in the middle for five balls and did not look in control at any point. As he hit a nothing shot and was easily caught. KL Rahul, India’s captain, won the toss and chose to bat against South Africa in the Second ODI at Boland Park on Friday. India is fielding the same playing XI that lost the first ODI by 31 runs.
