PSL 2022: Umpire Faisal Afridi suspended for five PSL matches after breaching Covid protocol;
PSL 2022: Faisal Khan Afridi of the PCB Elite Panel of Umpires has suspended for five Pakistan Super League matches and fined 50 per cent of his match fee for breaching the event’s Health and Safety protocols.
Tournament Director Salman Naseer:

So that they continue to be available to their sides and entertain millions of fans following this event worldwide.”
Aleem Dar, Michael Gough & Richard Illingworth will join 7 members of the PCB Elite Panel of Umpires to share umpiring responsibilities for PSL 6. The 7 local umpires are Ahsan Raza, Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Khan Afridi, Imran Jawed, Rashid Riaz, Shozab Raza & Zameer Haider #PSL6

Moreover, Faisal Khan Afridi had pleaded guilty to the charge and offered his regrets.
Therefore, the decision made by the PCB Covid Committee, which also included Usman Wahla apart from Salman Naseer. While making the decision, the panel took into consideration all facts of the incident.
