IPL 2022 Mega Auction: Full list of 17 Indians with base price of Rs 2 crore;
IPL 2022 Mega Auction: The next edition of the IPL player auction will take place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13.
Rs 2 Crore is the highest base price category. This time, a total of 17 Indian cricketers with a starting price of Rs 2 crore will be auctioned. Therefore, the highest reserve price is Rs 2 crore. In the final auction list of 590 players, a total of 48 players (17 Indians and 31 foreigners) have elected to place themselves in this bracket. A total of 1214 players had signed up for the auction before it began.
The Indian cricket board has released a list of 590 cricketers who would be up for grabs during the two-day mega auction (370 Indian players and 220 international players). However, in which 228 capped players, 355 uncapped players and 7 belong to Associate Nations.

Apart from the eight existing franchises – Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad. IPL 2022 will also see two new franchises – Lucknow Super Giants and the yet-to-be-named Ahmedabad franchise.
