IND vs WI: India defeated West Indies in the first One-Day International at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday, with spinner Yuzvendra Chahal taking four wickets and skipper Rohit Sharma hitting a fifty.
India took a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series with this victory.
India bowled out the West Indies for 176 runs and then chased down the goal in 28 overs to win by six wickets. Chasing 177, India got off to a flying start, reaching 67 in the first 10 overs without losing a wicket.
As India reached 100, Alzarri Joseph struck in rapid succession, dismissing Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
