BBL 2021-22: Glenn Maxwell creates history with highest ever BBL score;
BBL 2021-22: Glenn Maxwell, the captain of the Melbourne Stars, scored the greatest individual score in the Big Bash League’s (BBL) history on Wednesday.
Maxwell scored 154 runs off 64 balls, including 22 fours and four sixes, to help the Melbourne Stars reach 273/2 in their allotted twenty overs against the Hobart Hurricanes. Melbourne Stars’ total is also the highest team score in the competition’s history.

He was playing in his 100th Big Bash League’s game. For the Stars, Stoinis and Maxwell added 132 runs for the third wicket.

Marcus Stoinis, the right-handed batsman, also rose to the occasion, scoring 75 runs off just 31 balls, including four fours and six sixes.
Melbourne Stars scored 29 boundaries and 10 sixes in their entire innings.
