BBL 2021-22: Big Bash League in Jeopardy as 11 players tested positive for COVID 19 – Big Bash is facing a challenging situation relating to COVID-19 as 11 players from Melbourne Stars and Sydney Thunder tested positive for COVID 19.

Sydney Thunder who have four cases were about to play against the Adelaide Strikers in Adelaide in tonight’s New Year’s Eve clash, while the Melbourne Stars’ next match is at St Kilda against Perth Scorchers on 2nd January 2022.

Both clubs said they are working with Cricket Australia regarding those impending fixtures, while Sydney Thunder are also seeking advice from SA Health ahead of tonight’s match.
