Bappi Lahiri Passes Away: Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and Others Offer Condolences to Disco King
Bappi Lahiri passes away at the age of 69 in Mumbai’s CritiCare Hospital. His doctor Deepak Namjoshi confirmed the news of his demise.
According to the doctor, the ‘Disco Dancer’ hitmaker died last night due to multiple health issues.
“He had admitted to the hospital for a month. But discharged on Monday. But his health deteriorated on Tuesday and his family called for a doctor to visit their home, following which he brought to the hospital. Also, he had multiple health issues. He died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) last night,” Dr Deepak Namjoshi said.
Bappi Lahiri was hospitalised in April last year as well after he had tested positive for coronavirus.
Yuvraj Singh said, ‘Bappi Lahiri will fondly remembered for his “mesmerising” musical compositions’.

Sachin Tendulkar said, ‘I really enjoyed Bappi Da’s music’.
“I really enjoyed Bappi Da’s music, especially “yaad aa raha hai” – heard it several times in the dressing room. But the range of his talent was truly amazing. आप हमेशा हमें याद रहोगे बप्पी दा!,” Sachin tweeted.
