Ratnayake will not travel to Australia with the team. But will join before the 1st T20I game. As he is currently in self-isolation having tested positive for Covid 19.

Earlier, openers Danushka Gunathilaka and Kusal Mendis reinstated into the Sri Lankan T20I squad for the five-match series against Australia. After serving one-year suspensions for violating COVID-19 procedures during a tour of England last year.
However, Niroshan Dickwella, the third player on the tour suspended for a similar offence, has left out of the squad. Therefore, Sri Lanka’s series against Australia begins on February 11 at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
