Ashes 2021-22 4th Test: Crawley, Hameed safely battle through to stumps on Day 4 – England rallied back against Australia in the third session of the ongoing fourth Ashes Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday, with Zak Crawley and Haseeb Hameed anchoring the innings.
On Day 4, England’s score was 30/0, with the team still needing 358 runs to win. Australia had declared their innings at 265/6, with a 388-run advantage. Usman Khawaja (101*) and Cameron Green (74) continued their fire batting effort when the third session began at 149/4, respectively, and completed their centuries and half-centuries. In the fourth Test, this was Khawaja’s second century.

When Jack Leach dismissed Green (74), England breathed a sigh of relief, which was quickly followed by Alex Carey’s wicket on his first delivery.
